Acupuncture

Promote well-being and find relief from a wide range of conditions with acupuncture treatments at Mount Auburn Hospital’s Marino Center for Integrative Health.

You can rely on our experienced, well-trained practitioners to provide safe, effective care.

What Is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture stimulates specific points on the body by inserting disposable hair-thin needles through your skin. Because the needles are so fine (less than .2 mm in diameter) and we use special techniques to place them, you won’t feel any pain.

Traditional Chinese Medicine

Benefit from the holistic approach of Ping Yao, LicAc, who completed formal training in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in Beijing as well as fellowships in the United States. TCM treats or prevents health problems using a combination of acupuncture, herbal medicines, diet therapy and mind-body techniques to improve your Qi, or energy flow.

Conditions That May Benefit
