Longtime Belmont resident C. Gerald Gnerre has made a generous gift to Mount Auburn Hospital to name the Reception and Waiting Area in the Hematology/Oncology Department. Gnerre’s gift was made in fond memory of his wife, Clara Wagner Gnerre, who received care in the department from 2004 to 2005.

“Mount Auburn Hospital is deeply grateful for Gerry Gnerre’s extraordinary support,” said Mount Auburn Hospital President and CEO Jeanette Clough. “This gift provides important support for the renovation and redesign of the Hematology/Oncology Department as well as funding for the department to enhance patient care, coordination and communication.”
