Orthopedic Imaging Using MRI
MRI provides optimal high contrast images of both bone and tissue structures, including cartilage, tendon, ligaments, bone marrow, bone cortex, muscle and joint fluids. All done non-invasively to help diagnose a number of sports and other related injuries.
Dedicated multi-channel extremity coils further optimize signal-to-noise ratios for better clarity and these coils facilitate optimal patient comfort and positioning.
Our state-of-the-art units allow for very small structural field-of-view imaging at high resolution.
Each unit offers “feet-first” scanning which will allow for maximum patient comfort, efficiency and the lowest claustrophobic rates ever.
Advanced metal artifact reduction (MARS) technology is available to optimally image patients with prostheses.
Mount Auburn Radiology offers MR and CT arthrography.
