Inpatient Services
Coordinating care during your hospitalization our Speech/Language Pathologists work as part of an interdisciplinary team to improve your communication and/or swallowing abilities. Should you need a Modified Barium Swallow study, our therapists work in conjunction with the Radiology Department to identify your swallowing problems and recommend appropriate foods, liquids and behavioral modifications to improve your swallowing.
Outpatient Services
You have access to our Speech Therapy services at our off-campus location at 625 Mount Auburn Street in Cambridge, where you will be evaluated by a therapist who will develop an individualized treatment plan along with a home exercise program. Should you need a Modified Barium Swallow study on an outpatient basis, your PCP will schedule your appointment with the Radiology Department and a Speech/Language Therapist will perform the study along with the Radiologist.
