Reach your health goals with primary care physicians who support integrating complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) with conventional medicine to help you feel your best. At Mount Auburn Hospital’s Marino Center for Integrative Health, you’ll benefit from a wide range of providers who come together to help you live well.
What Is Integrative Medicine?
Integrative medicine focuses on helping you feel and live your best every day, both physically and emotionally. We focus on wellness and prevention, and aim to treat you as a person, not just your medical condition. Your integrative medicine provider may prescribe a combination of conventional and complementary therapies to help you feel your best.
Holistic Primary Care at the Marino Center
At the Marino Center for Integrative Health, you’ll build relationships with board-certified primary care physicians and nurse practitioners who can help you navigate between conventional and CAM approaches to health and wellness. You can trust our experience because the Marino Center for Integrative Health is the area’s oldest and most comprehensive integrative medicine center.
Time to Talk with Your Doctor
You’ll spend up to an hour with your primary care provider at your first appointment and can count on 30 to 60 minutes of face-to-face time each visit after that. That’s significantly higher than the national average of 20 minutes. So you can feel confident your provider will help you reach your unique health and wellness goals in ways that are safe, effective and feel right to you.
Will I pay a co-pay?
Determine if your visit will require a co-pay for services you receive at the Marino Center.
Same-Day and Next-Day Sick Care
When you’re ill, call our Telephone Triage service. You’ll speak with registered nurses who can answer your health questions and determine what type of care you need. We’ll schedule your appointment as soon as possible—usually within 24 hours. If necessary, we’ll also coordinate tests in advance of your appointment so your provider can have the results in hand when you arrive.
To reach a nurse, call 617-661-6225, Ext. 6810 during regular office hours.
Co-Located Complementary Therapies
You’ll appreciate the convenience of primary care and complementary medicine providers working together in one location. Plus, if you see multiple providers, you’ll enjoy seamless, coordinated care because we meet regularly to discuss care plans and share an electronic medical records system. Learn more about:
