Japanese-style acupuncture using external ear points that correspond with cancer related symptoms such as pain relief, nausea and anxiety. Treatments are given in a relaxed seated position for 20-30 minutes.
This clinic is open to all Oncology patients and their families at no charge.
Meet the Practitioner
Wyatt LaCoss, MAOM, Dipl.OM, L.Ac. is a credentialed Mount Auburn Hospital Acupuncture practitioner. Practicing since 2001, he is a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), Certified in Auriculotherapy by the Auriculotherapy Certification Institute and licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Medicine in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
Wyatt has a private practice in Arlington, Massachusetts. In addition, he is an adjunct professor with NESA at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University where he teaches within the Japanese acupuncture department and assists all levels from the introductory to the advanced courses and helps prepare students to enter their internships within professional clinics. Wyatt earned his Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture, specializing in Chinese and Japanese styles of acupuncture as well as in Chinese herbal medicine. Wyatt also speaks French.
