Paint Break is a free, therapeutic painting experience for cancer patients, survivors, and their caregivers in the Mount Auburn community. This program offers a supportive environment where patients, survivors, and loved ones can expressively work through their journey in a shared space.
Every artist will work on their own pieces independently, but will also have the opportunity to interact with one another during creative, mind-body inspired warm up exercises. Materials are provided, including 9" x 12” stretched canvas and acrylic paints. Experienced artists are welcome to bring their own subject matter, non-toxic art materials, and larger canvas if preferred.
Participants will meet in the Herzstein Wellness Center on the third floor of the Wyman building at Mount Auburn Hospital from 10:30am-1:00pm. The event is offered on the third Thursday of each month.
All experience levels welcome!
