Dr. Kinan Hreib is Chief of the Division of Neurology at Mount Auburn Hospital. He is a Member of the Faculty of Neurology at Harvard Medical School and has held numerous teaching positions. Dr. Hreib holds a PhD in neuroscience and an MBA in Business. He received Boston Magazine’s Top Doctor award and was voted Best Neurologist for 2 consecutive years. He is a frequent lecturer in neurological disease management and quality outcomes.
As an expert in the field of neurology and vascular neurology, Dr. Hreib has been lead investigator on 8 clinical trials and participated in another 4, studying ways to treat or prevent stroke. In his book, “100 Questions & Answers About Stroke: A Lahey Clinic Guide,” Dr. Hreib provides authoritative, practical answers to the most common questions related to stroke asked by patients and their loved ones.
Dr. Hreib established a successful stroke patient practice before joining Mount Auburn Hospital.
In addition to a subspecialty in vascular neurology, he has a clinical interest in the treatment and management of dizziness (vertigo).
