I feel privileged to be a part of this group of phenomenal midwives committed to supporting women and families. I've always been involved in women's issues, and came to midwifery after several years of public health research at Boston Medical Center. As a midwife, I've worked with women of all ages at a busy community health clinic in Dorchester, MA and with families interested in a low-intervention, high-support labor and birth experience at a private practice in Wellesley. I have additional training in breastfeeding support and caring for sexual abuse survivors. I see patients at the Center for Women at the hospital, the Watertown office, and MIT. I also facilitate our postpartum support group every Tuesday afternoon. When I'm not working, you can find me curled up with a good book, experimenting in the kitchen, or spending quality time, ideally outside, with my partner and our two kids.
