Physicians' Leadership Circle

Established in 2000, the Physicians’ Leadership Circle (PLC) is an esteemed group of Mount Auburn Hospital physicians who come together each year to show their support for the hospital. Physicians are invited to join their colleagues and be part of this giving circle by making an annual gift to the hospital. The PLC welcomes donations of $1,000 or more from its active staff. Emeriti physicians, physicians within 3 years of their residency or fellowship and first-time members of the PLC are eligible to join the Circle with a gift of $500.

Since the PLC began, Mount Auburn physicians have jointly contributed $6.2 million, making the PLC the second largest source of charitable giving to the hospital. In recognition of this outstanding support, Jeanette Clough, President, hosts a dinner each spring for PLC members at a specially chosen venue. Since 2011 the Distinguished Physician Awards have been presented to one active and one emeritus physician at the PLC dinner.
