Information provided here is a comprehensive list of standard charges for each inpatient and outpatient service or item (also known as a chargemaster) provided by Mount Auburn Hospital on December 19, 2018. This list of services/items and the corresponding amounts are subject to change throughout the year.
Charges listed for DRGs (Diagnosis Related Group) are not fixed, standard prices, they are averages based on services delivered to Medicare patients over a period of time. Actual charges for DRGs will vary from patient to patient, sometimes widely, depending on the particular services rendered during the patient's stay. These average charges by DRG do not represent what Medicare will pay the Hospital, nor do they represent out-of-pocket costs.
We do not recommend relying on the chargemaster as a tool for our patients to estimate what their healthcare services will cost. If you seek further information, please contact our Financial Counseling Services staff for an estimate of your out of pocket costs for your upcoming hospital stay.
