About Your Hospital Bill

If you have insurance, Mount Auburn Hospital will submit a bill to your insurance plan for the care you received. Any co-payments, deductibles, or other outstanding balances not paid by your insurance company will be billed directly to you. You can pay your hospital bill by mail, over the phone, or by a secure online transaction or in person at the Cashier’s Office located in the Needham Lobby of our main campus. All major credit cards are accepted.

If you have questions about your hospital bill, please call us at (617) 655-6849 Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Pay your bill online!

You may access your bill online and pay securely through your MyChart account.

If you feel you may qualify for financial assistance, or would like help navigating the Health Insurance Exchange, please contact us at: 617-499-5560 for more information. Our financial counselors will guide you through the process.

Other Types of Bills That You May Receive

As a patient of Mount Auburn Hospital, you may have received care by one or more of our specialists. For instance, surgeons, radiologists, pathologists or anesthesiologists all bill separately for their services. If you have received care from one or more of these specialty providers, you will receive a separate bill.
